Here is a card with my feeble attempt at making rolled up roses. Kittie Caracciolo from Kittie Kraft makes amazing roses and flowers. Inspired by her, I bought some rose dies, but I think I need a video tutorial on how to make them work!
Here is my card inspired by the Runway Inspired Challenge #22:
I used clear cover sheet as my card base. Stamped polka dot with Gold StazOn. Glued the leaf branch and roses on top, then placed glue behind the roses and some branches to adhere the red piece from behind. Adhered white card stock on both sides of the back panel; same dimension as the red piece.
Left this card without a sentiment, as I wasn’t sure what occasion I would use it. On second thought, I may just leave it this way, without a sentiment. It would be the perfect card to give to my mom 🙂
Materals:
Stamp: Hero Arts Raindrop background, WPlus9 Country Charm; used this to create the red stripes on the roses.
Ink: StazOn gold, Close to My Heart Tulip.
Paper: Clear Cover Sheet, Dark red card stock, grey card stock.
Others: My Favorite Things Rolled Rose Die Medium and small, Memory Box Loreai Leaf outline die, glossy accent.
Such a NEAT card!! =) I LOVE your take on the challenge!! THANKS for sharing and have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! =)
