I made this card for the current Runway Inspired Challege. Here is the challenge photo:
I was inspired by the splashes of color all over the fabric, and by the bold black stripes.
I used distress markers; scribbled on my glass mat, sprayed water, then using a paint brush vigorously splashed on the card.
The butterfly is stamped on a clear sheet with black StazOn ink. After stamping, I colored the borders with a black Copic marker, cut it out and attached it with a little glue on the center.
Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts Butterflies, Hero Arts Sweet Threads Thank You.
Ink: Distress ink: Worn Lipstick, Wild Hones, Scattered Straw. Black StaOn, Versafine Black. Copic B100.
Paper: Neenah Solar White card stock, clear presentation cover.
Other: Two way glue pen.
Another beauty from you, Tasnim!!! I love the colors, the splatters and the perfect butterfly!!
Beautiful paint splatters with the details butterfly! So pretty!
Those splatters are just perfect! (I didn’t even know it was possible to have perfect splatters, but you did it! hehe). Thanks so much for joining us on the Runway- your last challenge as a participant 🙂
Beautiful!
