Hello everyone!
It is time for a new Runway Inspired challenge! and I have a few cards and a video to share with you! Here is the inspiration photo:
Well, blue and green! My two favorite colors, I had to use them! Do you notice how the two colors blend into each other within individual geometric patterns on the bodice? I wanted to create that effect. First I thought of using Copic markers, but couldn’t get it to work in a small area, so I ended up stamping using the rock’n roll technique. Here is my card:
The sentiment is computer-generated.

And the video:
I had some left over flowers so I made these two cards:
I added a rhinestone on this one to make it look more like a flower.
I made one more card inspired by the color scheme in this beautiful card by Taheera.
For this one I stamped the image with Versamarak, and used heat & stick powder to adhere some crystal Snow powder on it. It looks so good upfront! Here is a close up where I tried to capture how the snowflake glistens in the light:
I also stamped a gradation stamp with white pigment ink onto the background. I love this stamp!
This week’s sponsor is Freckled Fawn. I hope you are inspired and will get a chance to join us! Please visit the Runway Inspired Challenge and check out the amazing work of the rest of the design team:

I love that swipe of ink! saw the video and now I will give it a go!
Oh Tasnim! You are AMAZING! Love your handmade embellishments! So cool! Merry Christmas! 🙂
THAT SWIPE 😀 Hahaha, I can’t imagine how many times I would have to swipe that ink pad down! And that green is gorgeous!
Oh wow, where do I start? First of all, I have spent way more time than I should have (my Christmas presents are so begging to be wrapped, and in some cases, made!) scrolling through your wonderfully inspiring blog. Your cards as so well-designed, Tasnim, and have such wonderful surprises to them, like a cool technique, a great element, or just great insight into your design process. I loved your card in this post, and then said a “Holy Cow” when I saw you cut the petals out! All the versions of your card are great in their own way. Thanks so much for the inspiration, and I look forward to seeing more!
