Hello everyone!
Once again I am here with CASE study as a guest designer, but sadly, this is my last one. I did have a GREAT time CASEing Amber’s cards for this month and am very thankful for this opportunity!
So here is the last inspiration card from Amber-Kemp Gerstel:
My reaction when I saw these cards? WOW! sheer elegance! such an awesome design and perfectly executed cards! If I had the same die, I would probably make the exact same card! well, maybe with subtle differences here and there 🙂
I happen to have a stamp that is the exact same design as this die, and I used it to create my card.
Yap, it is pretty much the same design, only in reverse.
I started with 4.25″ by 5.5″ white card stock, and inked it up with Stampin’Up! Tempting Turquoise. I then stamped the stamp from Paper Smooches Potpourri repeated on the back until I got the pattern I wanted. Finally I cut out the little pieces and adhered them on a walnut cream card base.
Make sure to visit the CASE study challenge blog to see what the design team has come up with!
Thanks for visiting!
SWOON! This is such a gorgeous take on Amber’s card! You did an awesome job on the guest design! Congrats!
Uch a great design Tasnim, just wow!!
That should have said ‘Such’. Stupid iPad!
You had me so confused … I read that you used a stamp for your card, and then looked at your photo and saw the paper pieces so I’m thinking it’s a die. I couldn’t figure that out, until I finished reading your post. Holy wow, you cut all those out and then pieced them together … that’s amazing! WOW.
0.0 ur mashaAllah toooooo talented girl ! luv the color , everything about this card ! 🙂
Stunning, I love that shade of blue and WOW you cut out all those little pieces!! Amazing!
Oh my, Tasnim! This card is gorgeous! I’m so glad you linked your blog up to the Moxie Fab World Blogroll. It will be great to stop by and say “hello” from time to time! 🙂
Woah Tasnim! This is stunning!!! I absolutely love how you put this together! Great technique! 🙂
WOW STUNNING! And so much work too!
I cannot believe you cut out all those pieces
I definitely do not have that patience XD And the effect is amazing!
When I saw your card on the CASE Study blog, I was wondering ‘how did she do that?!’ so I had to come over for a closer look. Your card is stunning. Cannot believe you hand-cut all those individual pieces and then aligned them so perfectly.
Lots of love and diligent detail in this creation! Thank you for your inspiration!
The extra time I’m sure it took to cut out all those pieces totally paid off! Just stunning!
You are the queen of detail, Tasnim!! This is spectacular, and now you have the Moxie Fab nod to prove it!. Congratulations!!
Congrats on being Moxie Fab today!!
This is awe inspiring! Seriously, I can’t believe you cut all of the little pieces out and stuck them so evenly on the card!!! Brilliant!
Oh my! Your fussy cutting was so worth it–this is absolutely gorgeous, Tasnim!
Gorgeous card – Love the colors, beautiful lay out!
So pretty! I love the blue mosaic and the shading around the edges adds so much depth!
