Hello there blog friends!
This post is very much overdue! A while back, on June 25th to be exact, I wrote about how I had 99 followers, and I would do a little celebration once I had 100 followers. Well, within a few hours after posting, I had one more person join my blog.
In celebration, I have a surprise gift package for my 100th follower, who is….

Fena, please leave your mailing address in the Contact page, so I can send the surprise package your way 🙂
Well, I did not forget about the 99 other followers, rather, the 107 others now. I have this little package for one lucky winner:
Just leave a comment on this post by Sunday July 14, and I will announce a winner on Monday July 15.
And before I leave, I want to share a card that I made a while ago. I made this for a blog friend, and it is WAY overdue! In fact, I haven’t sent it yet!! 😦 She loves to incorporate gold elements in her cards, so with some gold and a touch of elegance, here is what I made:
I stamped the Hero Arts background stamp on watercolor paper with Distress ink Antique linen to get a very light impression. I then colored the flowers with Copic markers and used Sakura Gelly Roll Metallic pen to do the outlines. Initially I colored first then did the outline, but later I realized that it is much easier to do the outline first and then color, specially in the narrow spaces.
I cut off half inch from one side and adhered my colored piece on a maroon card base. The sentiment is stamped with Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink.
Here is a sideways view to show you how the gold looks against the light:
Don’t forget to leave a comment for a chance to win the giveaway!
