Hello!
I am here with a new CASE Study challenge. It is the last one with our muse Jocelyn 😦
But we are ending with a fun and bright inspiration! Check it:
Love those neon splashes! specially the fact that they are pixelated!
Well, I didn’t create any pixels, but instead took out my Hero Arts Neon inks and got to inking:
I die cut circles out of post-it label and used the negatives to apply the neon inks (pink and yellow) using a sponge applicator.
The cityscape is from Memory Box (cityscape nitghline), and the sentiment is from Mama Elephant (Say What).
Jocelyn, Thanks for inspiring us with your amazing work! It has been such a pleasure having you at CASE Study!
On other news, I have been busy designing cards for Eid and for the workshop that I am teaching at our local library. I had planned to share them this week, but with a sudden Wedding in the family, things got quite busy here! The Wedding was today, so I thought I would leave you with a picture of me and my husband with the newlyweds:
Outside our home with my husband’s cousin and his bride
I took a lot of pictures, but this one is my favorite! …yes I am a bit biased 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
MashaAllah beautiful couple may Allah bless them always and as always the card is amazing 🙂
Tasnim, you make the most amazing cards! Congratulations to the beautiful couple as well!
I think your cards are beautiful, professional looking and innovative…especially today’s…wow!
Love your card. I love the sponging. And what a lovely photo from the wedding. Ladies look pretty and the men look handsome.
Beautiful effect, Tasnim – love how the overlap created a different colour!

FANTASTIC use of the colored circles behind the cityscape! Great card! 🙂

Awesome card! And congrats to your family! 🙂
I kinda think that the holes in the buildings allow for the ‘pixels’, what a FAB card and thanks for sharing your wonderful photos too!
I thought that was vellum overlapping at first!!! LOVE the overlapping area ❤
I love the stamping – the neon is so vibrant! Great design! BTW love the photos the second one is sooo cute!
