Hello friends!
Once again, I am back with another CASE Study challenge with our muse Kathy Racoosin.
The inspiration:
Ah don’t you just love the vellum over those colorful stripes?
I was sure I would use vellum in some form, but ended up with a super simple and quick card:
I started by stamping the two thin stripes stamp from the Wplus9 Country charm set. After I had stamped a number of times, I trimmed the card stock to a 2.5″ square. I then used neon green Copic marker to color in the bars. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler set.
Make sure to visit the CASE Study challenge blog to see what fabulousness the rest of the team has come up with, as well as our muse Kathy and guest designer Amber Hight!
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Simple, but still with your creative flair to it! Wonderful : )
Love the card you created! 🙂
I just love seeing what you come up with! This is so clever!
just looking at this design I can hear the music…wonderful!
very rocky 😀
I’ve been viewing your creations for some time now…can I just say. you are a fabulous artist. Each card is perfectly designed with fantastic use of “white space” and color. You’re AWESOME.
I love your CAS take on Kathy’s card! Great stamping of those thin stripes and your inking/blending is amazing!
Seriously girl. Your cards are always brilliant!!! I love it!
Oh, I just LOVE what you’ve done here!
Love how your greens fade away so expertly here – how did you manage that so perfectly?! Awesome effect.
Hey Taheerah,
I really just flicked the Copic marker as I colored one stripe at a time. Oh and I also flicked colorless blender from the opposite direction.
This card rocks! Actually came to comment on one of your RIC cards 😉
