CASE Study Challenge 176

Hello my blog friends!

I am back with another challenge at CASE Study. This week is the last with our muse Donna Mikasa 😦

I tremendously enjoyed CASEing her cards!

CSC176

oooh shocking pink and gold!! I didn’t go with the pink though, as I felt that a lot of my recent cards have been in that color band, but I definitely was not going to pass up on the embossed gold over vellum!

I challenged myself to use the coordinating Hero Arts stamp in my card:

CASE 175 TasnimI stamped the flower using gold pigment ink, then colored the inside of the petals using a Copic marker.

The rest was easy; emboss the greeting in gold over a strip of vellum, bend the sides and attach to card, and then add a few enamel dots. Luckily I had the exact colors that I was looking for, thanks to Cath.

Hope you can join in the fun this week! remember it is the last inspiration from Donna!

Make sure to stop by the CASE Study Challenge blog for more gorgeous inspirations!!

Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  1. A perfect interpretation of my card, Tasnim! Do you know I ALMOST thought about using the same stamp! It’s been a fun month and I always enjoy seeing your takes.

  2. I love love your gorgeous color combo with your own twist! You rock with all the CASE Study DT work (and RIC!!), this is no exception, Tasnim!

  3. Beautiful Tasnim! Love that mint and coral colour palette, and love how you stamped the flower/medallion with that gold ink – sort of turning the bold into the delicate, love that!!
