Time for another CASE Study challenge! and this time we have an amazing inspiration card from Danielle Flanders!
Ah I just love all the soft colors and dimensions in this card!
I took inspiration from the pastel colors and the script die cut, and here is the card I came up with:
All the vellum sheets were first run through a Xyron sticker machine to apply an even layer of adhesive on one side. The circles were then punched with three different size punches.
For the “hello” I used a die from TCW, and covered it with Ranger’s white liquid enamel. The “happy birthday” is a washi tape which I added afterwards as the card was looking too plain. I covered two green dots on each side of the sentiment that were already on the washi tape with tiny punch outs from a silver glimmer paper by SU!.
Do stop by the CASE Study challenge blog for more inspirations and to see what the rest of the design team along with our talented guest designers May Park and Caryn Davies came up with.
Love the circles behind the hello die and the use of the washi tape with the covered up green dots is wonderful. I have this same washi tape so I will have to try this little trick.
What a fun take on the inspiration card, love it Tasnim!
This is so pretty Tasneem !!
LOVE this sooo much, Tasnim!
Oh, I love this! It’s perfect!
Great idea to use “hello” with your happy birthday sentiment … it really adds a little something extra. Also love your choice to use a white hello to keep your vellum circles light and airy. Gorgeous card, Tasnim!
BEAUTIFUL use of vellum! Love it, Tasnim!
Wow, Tasnim – beautiful creation. Love the layered vellum circles (did you colour plain vellum?). Love your sentiment “trick”, too 🙂
This is such a pretty card!
