Hello!
At Runway Inspired Challenge, we have this cute little outfit for inspiration today:
As soon as I saw the big yellow lion/bear? on the sweatshirt, I thought of our Ori Kami set.
I chose the elephant from the set, and went to work with it:
In my mind I had pink and grey to go with the big yellow center image. I first splattered the card base with Heidi Swapp’s Blush color shine. I then adhered a few grey strips of different widths at various angles behind the elephant in order to anchor it. The elephant was paper pieced with lime yellow card stock, parts of it are plain, and other parts have a stamped pattern. The sentiment is from the Altenew Figure Effects set.
This week, the girls at Runway Inspired Challenge simply outdid themselves! Do stop by the Runway blog or their individual blogs. You will find an amazing variety of projects overflowing with inspiration!

Love this card! I really like the addition of the gray stripes at an angle.
Fabulous, Tasnim! The grey abstract stripes really put the focus on that sweet ori-phump 🙂
perfectly perfect.
I knew the origami would be putting in an appearance here 😉 I totally love those angled gray stripes. Genius.
Love everything about this card – my favorite from the DT.
Origami is HOT. Really love how you have your sentiment on a slight incline. Makes it so much more interesting! Also adore your partially patterned elephant.
Very clever take on the inspiration – love it! I just ordered my first Altenew stamps – can’t wait!
This is adorable!! Love it!
So cute Tasnim! Of course I love the elephant, but I’m also totally digging those grey stripes! Ahh…it’s sometimes the simplest things that make the biggest impact!
