Wow! We are at #200 challenge at CASE study! and the challenge’s 4th year anniversary is just around the corner! Check out the blog for more details.
This week’s inspiration:
I love the colors and the layout of this card. And once again, I turned to my scraps to make today’s card.
Just like in Shari’s card, I used an extra panel for the card front, and popped it on foam tape after I had splattered it with Heidi Swapp Gold mister.
- The heart is punched out of maroon vellum with sticky back, and it was left over from this card:
- The train (Hero Arts Past Time) was a left over from a project that I made a very long time ago, but never shared it on this blog.
- The Rose (Wplus9 Mother Day’s Bouquet) was an extra from when I made this card.
- Finally, the leaf cluster (Clearly Besotted Stamps Leafy Accents) is a left over from this card:
It was quite fun using all these elements from different projects from the past.
The sentiment is from Altenew’s Sohcahtoa set, and it was stamped on clear sticker paper, cut to size and adhered to the card front.
Do stop by the CASE study challenge blog for some beautiful inspirational projects from the design team and our guest designers.
On a separate note, I did a guest post for Ellen Hutson at the CLASSroom yesterday. You may view the post and watch the video tutorial here.
Thanks for visiting today 🙂
Beautiful card Tasnim! And yes, I caught your guest spot on Ellen Hutson yesterday and was so happy for you!
Such a gorgeous card…the gold is amazing. So fun to see where some of your embellies came from.
P.S. I LOVED your feature on Ellen’s…awesome work!
Awesome card, Miss Lady!! 🙂
Lovely, Tasnim. Way to use the scrap pieces..
I really like this– unexpected elements, wonderful white space and the placement of the sentiment!! Very cool process! xo
