About
Hello, and welcome to my webpage!
I completed my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in May 2010. I am happily married and have a beautiful baby daughter, born June 2011. I love paper crafting, calligraphy, and learning languages.
A little bit about my background: I was born and raised in the beautiful oasis region of Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. My parents moved there from Bangladesh in the early 80’s. I attended Arabic schools for eight years, and as a result was able to learn and speak Arabic fluently. Later I attended English schools. I moved to USA when I was 19, and attended college. I lived in Boston, Amhesrt, and now I live in Long Island, NY although Boston is still my favorite city!
I hope to share my art projects and love of languages with those of similar interests. Please feel free to ask any questions or leave your comments.

Hi. I was lucky to find your blog today. Your work is lovely and thank you for the inspiration. The blending you do on your backgrounds is so well done. Would you mind sharing what paper you use? Thanks again.

I have many friends of many cultural and religious backgrounds. I have had a difficult time finding stamps and supplies for Muslim holidays. Until now. I’m so glad I found you and your shop!

I came across the Altenew website and saw one of your cards featured. You do beautiful work Tasnim and I now have your blog bookmarked on my computer.
Your release blog hop today was fabulous! I already follow you on FB and Instagram. Would you consider posting more on Instagram? I think it would be well worth whatever expense and effort it would take. I know my wallet is considerably lighter due to IG inspiration…
I love your eye for detail, how you catch inspiration from colors and textures. Will visit your site again.
When will you come back to the East Meadow Public Library to teach card making classes? I did several with you a while back. They were great. If you do classes, please do them in the evenings as I work during the daytime. Would love to do this again with you!
Thank you!
